What is a Subluxation?

A subluxation is the misalignment of one or more spinal vertebrae that do not properly move biomechanically. Subluxation leads to a compromise in the functioning of nervous system impulses or directly causes nerve irritation.

The Atlas Othogonal adjustment, which corrects subluxation at the base of the skull, is a painless, precise application of 3 lbs from a floor mounted instrument table. We also utilize the Pulstar adjusting instrument which is also noninvasive, and pain free in its correction of subluxation.

Dr. Nygaard stresses the importance of early detection and prevention because of this fact. Why wait until symptoms manifest? Symptoms are nothing more than an accumulation of damaged tissue cells.
